We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented **Formulation Chemist** to join our R&D team working on **peptide-based generic therapeutics**. You will play a hands-on role in **formulating injectable and oral dosage forms** of drugs like **semaglutide**, helping build India’s first dedicated GLP-1 peptide development platform.

You will be responsible for **lab setup**, **formulation trials**, **process documentation**, and **quality characterization**, supporting our mission to bring affordable peptide drugs to market.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and optimize **formulations of injectable and oral peptide drugs** (e.g., semaglutide)
- Prepare small-scale batches for **sterility, stability, and performance testing**:

- Support setup of R&D **lab infrastructure**: glassware, balances, mixers, lyophilizer, LAF
- Perform **solution preparation, filtration, lyophilization, tablet granulation** (if applicable)
- Operate and calibrate analytical instruments (e.g., **HPLC, UV, pH meter**)
- Draft and maintain **batch records, SOPs, and formulation protocols**:

- Conduct **excipient compatibility and stability studies**:

- Collaborate with regulatory and QA team to ensure **GMP-aligned documentation**

**Requirements**:

- M.Pharm / M.Sc in Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Biotechnology, or related field
- 3-7 years of experience in **formulation development**, preferably **injectables or peptides**:

- Experience working in a **GMP / R&D formulation lab**:

- Familiarity with **peptide handling**, cold-chain materials, and aseptic technique is a plus
- Strong skills in **scientific documentation**, attention to detail, and lab safety

**Bonus Skills (Preferred but not required)**
- Experience with **semaglutide, insulin, GLP-1s, or biologics**:

- Hands-on work with **lyophilization or LAF benches**:

- Exposure to **analytical method validation** or working with QA teams
