Job Title: Lift Technician / Elevator Technician

Location: Mumbai, Mira-Bhayander, Thane

Department: Operations / Maintenance

Reporting To: Sr. Technician / Operations Manager

Employment Type: Full-time

Experience Required: 1-3 years (including apprenticeship or On-the-Job Training)

Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
1. Preventive Maintenance
- Conduct routine inspections, lubrication, adjustments, and system checks.
- Replace worn-out or faulty components (e.g., guide shoes, relays, ropes) to prevent malfunctions.
- Ensure proper functioning and operational reliability of lifts and escalators.

2. Breakdown & Emergency Repairs
- Respond promptly to breakdowns and emergency fault calls.
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues; perform on-site repairs.
- Restore lift operations safely and efficiently with mínimal downtime.

3. Safety & Compliance
- Adhere to industry safety standards and regulatory norms during all operations.
- Maintain accurate AMC logs, inspection records, and safety documentation.
- Participate in routine safety drills, audits, and equipment checks.

4. Customer Communication
- Interact professionally with clients and building occupants.
- Provide clear updates on equipment status, repair timelines, and recommendations.
- Escalate complex technical issues to senior staff or OEM representatives as necessary.

5. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain service records, breakdown history, and maintenance checklists.
- Submit daily job reports via mobile apps or paper-based formats as directed.

Qualifications:

- SSC (10th Pass); HSC (12th Pass) preferred.
- ITI Certification in Lift Mechanic, Electrician, or Wireman (NCVT preferred).
- Additional training or certifications in elevator safety, electrical safety, or welding are advantageous.

Experience:*
- 1-3 years of hands-on experience in lift installation or maintenance.
- Freshers with relevant ITI background and apprenticeship exposure are encouraged to apply.
- On-site training experience under the Apprenticeship Act is considered a strong asset.

Key Skills:

- Troubleshooting skills across major elevator brands (e.g., Otis, Kone, Schindler).
- Knowledge of PLC systems and basic control panels (preferred but not mandatory).
- Strong commitment to safety practices and maintenance protocols.
- Ability to use mobile apps for real-time reporting and logging (preferred).

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
