Lift Technician

Job Summary: As a Lift Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of various types of lifts, elevators, and escalators. Your primary objective will be to ensure the safe and efficient operation of these vertical transportation systems in accordance with industry standards and regulations.

**Responsibilities**:
Install, test, and commission new lifts, elevators, and escalators.

Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on existing lift systems to identify and address any potential issues.

Perform repairs and troubleshoot problems with lift equipment, including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic components.

Replace faulty or worn-out parts and components as necessary.

Conduct safety tests and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Respond promptly to service calls and perform necessary repairs in a timely manner.

Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, service reports, and spare parts inventory.

Provide excellent customer service and address client inquiries or concerns in a professional and friendly manner.

Stay updated with the latest industry developments, codes, and safety standards related to lift operations.

Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure effective communication and workflow efficiency.

Adhere to company policies, safety guidelines, and best practices at all times.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent qualification.

Proven experience as a Lift Technician or in a similar role.

Strong technical knowledge of lift systems, including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic components.

Familiarity with lift installation procedures and safety protocols.

Proficient in reading and interpreting technical diagrams, manuals, and blueprints.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and repair lift malfunctions.

Basic computer skills for documentation and record-keeping.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to ensuring high-quality work.

Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

Valid driver's license and the ability to travel to client locations as required.

Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy objects and work at heights.

Relevant certifications or licenses (e.g., Lift Technician certification) will be advantageous.
