About the role:

- Assist in reporting for all bases of Accounting & Reporting and related deliverables of assigned carriers - US GAAP, Local & Statutory and IFRS Reporting
- Responsible for government reporting deliverables according to local jurisdictions
- Assist in preparation of financial statements and related analytics
- Assist in coordination with external auditors to support local audit
- Willingness to challenge status quo processes and desire to implement process improvements, enforcing an environment with uncompromising controls
- Assumption of additional project-related responsibilities as well as ad-hoc requests from internal clients
- Fostering an environment of high collaboration and communication
- Perform critical self-review to ensure high quality work product
- Additional tasks and responsibilities will include the following:

- Ensuring successful/timely completion of monthly and quarterly close duties by both self, and the local team
- Focus on teamwork - taking on additional duties during peak times

- Prioritize daily work to ensure all deadlines are met
- Building and maintaining relationships with key internal clients

About the team:
As a member of the A&R Non-Regulated Carriers team, we are responsible for carrier reporting for non-regulated carriers including Holding Companies, Investment Management Companies, Real Estate and Service Companies.

We are looking for Reporting Professional that will support the Financial Reporting for all valuations - US GAAP, Local Statutory and IFRS. You will be responsible for the Accounting & Reporting tasks of assigned carriers according to the relevant accounting principles. You will ensure compliance with local / Group requirements and the internal control framework.
- Position will report to Head A&R Non-Reg Carrier Bangalore
- Position will assist in quarterly and annual reporting deliverables for assigned carriers
- Position will be responsible for completion and adherence to deadlines of US Government Reporting
- Position will assist with operational improvement, identification, and implementation
- Ability to develop and cultivate relationships with local cross-functional business partners and global business partners
- Should be able to see how own objectives fit in with the overall team/business objectives
- Assimilation of local culture with Group Finance Culture

About you:

- Graduate in Accounts with GL/Financial Reporting experience
- CA or other designations is a plus
- Knowledge regarding US GAAP, IFRS and operations experience
- Advanced level on Microsoft Office (Excel - Pivot Tables, Word, PowerPoint)
- Self-starter, good written/verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of Power BI, Python and other automation tool is desired.
- Ability to adhere to deadlines and work on own initiative
- Ability to work in a highly collaborative team environment
- Strong desire to learn and develop, receptive to coaching
- Fluent in English
