**Job Summary**:
The **Area Sales Executive** is responsible for managing and expanding the sales activities within a specific geographic region. This role involves developing relationships with new and existing clients, promoting the company’s products or services, achieving sales targets, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The Area Sales Executive will be expected to drive business growth by identifying market opportunities, managing customer accounts, and executing sales strategies.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Sales & Market Development**:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the assigned area.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Promote and sell the company’s products/services to customers.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and potential areas for growth.
- Achieve sales targets and performance goals set by the company.
- **Client Management**:
- Manage the entire sales process from prospecting, negotiating, and closing deals.
- Provide regular updates to clients regarding new products, services, promotions, and company activities.
- Offer after-sales support and follow-up with clients to ensure satisfaction.
- Troubleshoot customer issues and ensure prompt resolution to maintain strong relationships.
- **Reporting & Documentation**:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and customer feedback.
- Provide regular sales reports to management, including detailed performance metrics, market analysis, and forecasts.
- Track competitor activities and market trends to stay informed and adjust strategies accordingly.
- **Product Knowledge & Training**:
- Continuously update product knowledge to effectively present and promote offerings to clients.
- Provide feedback to product development and marketing teams based on customer insights and market demands.
- **Administrative Responsibilities**:
- Ensure that all sales processes, transactions, and contracts are documented and compliant with company policies.
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and sales contracts.
- Maintain a CRM system to track leads, opportunities, and customer history.
**Skills & Qualifications**:
- **Education**:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- **Experience**:
- Proven experience as a Sales Executive or in a similar sales role (typically 2+ years).
- Freshers also.
- Experience in a specific industry or product category may be an advantage.
- **Skills**:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent negotiation and persuasion abilities.
- Ability to build long-lasting relationships with clients.
- Goal-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
