As a Production Supervisor in our sheet metal manufacturing facility, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the production processes to ensure the efficient and timely manufacturing of high-quality sheet metal products. Your role will involve:
**Supervision**: Lead and supervise the production team, including machine operators, technicians, and production workers, to achieve production targets while maintaining quality and safety standards.

**Production Planning**: Collaborate with the production planning team to create daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules, ensuring optimal resource allocation and on-time delivery.

**Quality Control**: Monitor the production process to ensure that sheet metal products meet quality standards and specifications. Address any quality issues promptly and implement corrective actions.

**Machine Operation**: Ensure that machinery and equipment are operated safely and efficiently. Conduct routine maintenance checks and coordinate with maintenance teams for repairs.

**Inventory Management**: Track and manage inventory levels, including raw materials and finished products, to prevent shortages or overstocking.

**Safety Compliance**: Promote and enforce safety regulations and best practices to create a safe working environment. Conduct safety meetings and address any safety concerns.

**Training and Development**: Provide guidance and training to production staff to enhance their skills and ensure they understand and follow standard operating procedures.

**Efficiency Improvement**: Identify opportunities to improve production processes, reduce waste, and increase efficiency. Implement lean manufacturing principles where applicable.

**Reporting**: Generate regular production reports, including productivity, quality, and downtime data, to assess performance and make data-driven decisions.

**Problem Solving**: Address production-related issues and obstacles, such as equipment breakdowns, staffing problems, or delays, and find solutions to minimize disruptions.

**Requirements**:

- A bachelor's degree or diploma in a relevant field, such as Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 2+ years of experience in a production supervisory role, preferably in the sheet metal manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of sheet metal manufacturing processes, machinery, and quality control.
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
- Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations in a manufacturing environment.
