**The Team**

The GenAI Operations Team is seeking a team-oriented Data Scientist who is excited to take on the development and implementation of generative AI solutions for various business tasks, projects, and initiatives that are integral to the success of the organization.

**Performance Objectives**:

- Designing and implementing generative AI models and solutions using multiple LLMs and AWS Bedrock
- Developing Text2SQL agents to enable natural language database querying capabilities
- Working with multi-agentic architectures to solve complex business challenges
- Collaborating with Energy Industry SMEs to understand domain-specific requirements and translate them into AI solutions
- Deploying prototypes and production-ready generative AI models on AWS infrastructure
- Driving GenAI project initiatives from conception to implementation
- Operating independently on open-ended challenges while maintaining high-quality deliverables
- 2-3 years of Data Scientist experience with focus on generative AI technologies
- Deep understanding of generative AI frameworks, LLMs, and RAG-based architectures
- Hands-on experience with AWS Bedrock, Lambda Functions, Step Functions, S3, and OpenSearch
- Production experience building and deploying Text2SQL agents and conversational AI systems
- Exposure to multi-agentic architectures and complex AI orchestration patterns
- Strong proficiency in Python and machine learning frameworks
- Experience with cloud-native AI/ML deployment on AWS
- Independent thinker with strong problem-solving skills for open-ended challenges
- Ability to work autonomously while also collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
- Interest in driving innovation and leading GenAI initiatives
- Strong communication skills to work with Energy Industry Subject Matter Experts
- Ideal (but not necessary):

- Experience working with Databricks platform for data science and machine learning workflows
- Familiarity with Databricks MLflow for model tracking and deployment
- Knowledge of Databricks Delta Lake for data management and processing
- Experience integrating Databricks with cloud AI/ML services
