**_Position Overview _**:

- The DevOps Intern will be part of a growing Development/Products team. The DevOps Intern will support and contribute to the design and implementation of new features in Vera’s products, Amp Impact and Many2Many. _
- The _DevOps Intern should bring a desire to learn new technologies and processes, and an eagerness to develop new skills. _
- The _DevOps Intern _will join a team of passionate individuals with diverse backgrounds and experiences, all dedicated to improving the way social impact organizations operate. We’re a self-motivated, creative group, and we emphasize collaboration, flexibility, and professionalism. _

**_Primary Responsibilities: _**:

- _Support the engineering team to by researching and testing CI/CD automations and tooling _
- _Support the DevOps Lead in researching Salesforce DevOps best practices to ensure Vera engineering is at the leading edge of Salesforce CI/CD best practices _
- _Follow and contribute to internal best practices, commit to improving upon and learning new skills, and keep up-to-date with industry trends and developments _
- _Work closely with Engineering team-members to improve/automate repetitive and inefficient processes _

**Qualifications and Experience**:
**_Essential: _**:

- _Relevant coursework (completed or in progress) in Computer Engineering/Com. Science/BSc. I.T. _
- _Basic understanding of CI/CD concepts _
- _Basic knowledge of programming languages (Python, Javascript) _
- _Demonstrated success working in a team, self-management and proactive communication _
- _Excellent written and verbal communication and relational skills _
- _Excellent organizational skills and a passion for fine details _
- _Diligent work ethic and proven ability to work with drive and enthusiasm _
- _Insatiable desire to improve skills and knowledge of self and others _
- _Fluent English language skills _

**_Desirable: _**:

- _Basic knowledge of cloud DevOps (Azure DevOps, AWS Devops) _
- _Interest in social service work or international development _
- _Foundations in any the following: _
- _Source Control: Github _
- _CI/CD: CircleCI, Jenkins _
- _Testing Frameworks: Robot, Jest _
