**Job Title**: PGT Physics Teacher

As a PGT Physics Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in Physics to students at the secondary level. You will create and implement engaging lesson plans, assess student learning through various methods, and foster a positive and supportive learning environment conducive to academic growth. Additionally, you will collaborate with colleagues, participate in curriculum development, and engage in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and deliver comprehensive lesson plans in alignment with curriculum standards and objectives.
- Create engaging learning experiences that promote student inquiry, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Utilize a variety of instructional strategies and resources to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Assess student progress through formative and summative assessments, providing timely and constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and academic performance.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to support student success and address any concerns.
- Establish and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages respect, cooperation, and active participation.
- Participate in professional development activities to stay current with best practices in Physics education.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement interdisciplinary projects and activities.
- Uphold school policies and procedures, including those related to safety, discipline, and student welfare.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Physics or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Teaching certification or licensure in Physics (if required by state or country).
- Previous teaching experience at the secondary level, preferably in Physics.
- Strong knowledge of Physics concepts and principles, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to students.
- Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Proficiency in educational technology and instructional tools to enhance teaching and learning.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Commitment to continuous professional growth and development.
- Flexibility, creativity, and a passion for inspiring students to excel in Physics.
