Introduction:
To work within a central PMO function as part of the BUK PMO leadership team to enable and support successful change delivery through optimizing investment, driving project delivery at pace - confidently, optimally, simply in line with controls and standards. This will be achieved through pro-active and insightful MI production, focused governance and quality processes, strong control focus and active portfolio management. Role will be mainly managing KTLO budgets line for CE POD and managing POD SOB’s.

What will you be doing?

Portfolio Management Office

To provide support to the change community in ensuring the high performance delivery of change portfolios for Barclays UK
- Provide project management office expertise to a portfolio, working to monitor the health of projects within a portfolio and supporting PMs with quality and control actions
- Work with the various functions/Project Managers to collate and consolidate data on projects and planned initiatives within the Portfolio, identifying areas of consideration for stakeholders.
- Supports the Portfolio Managers to monitor and drive portfolio KPIs and drive the effective collation of quality data, reporting progress against them.
- Work with the portfolio to address performance queries and concerns; manage and facilitate remedial action to sustain delivery to time, cost and quality performance objectives. Work with the portfolio team to embed improvements across the portfolio.
- Support portfolio governance reviews and control adherence
- Work in partnership with the central Governance team to embed agreed processes effectively throughout the portfolio ensuring quality, consistency and control.
- Work closely with the local PMO teams to provide high quality PMO operations to the portfolio

POD SOB Manager
- As SOB Manager work with POD/Sub POD Partners to ensure CE POD SOB’s are maintained as per finance/ cost recovery principals.
- Responsible for ensuring SOB finance recovery model works as intended, including any housekeeping activities required.
- Responsible for monitoring actuals against the SOB and reporting issues/ variances where applicable with supporting comments.

What we’re looking for:

- Strong analytical and literacy ability
- Awareness and a working knowledge of Barclays Change Frameworks, standards and policies
- Understanding of project governance requirements

Good working knowledge of MS Office including strong PowerPoint, Excel and Project skills, in order to e.g. extract, manipulate and report programme / project financial and narrative information
