CNC Setter/operator

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Operate and monitor machinery, including CNC, VMC & Surface Grinder machines, lathes, presses, etc, to ensure smooth production flow.
- Write, edit, and optimize CNC programs using G-code and M-code, ensuring programs are efficient and accurate.
- Set up machines according to specifications and production requirements, including selecting and installing tools and fixtures.
- Conduct regular inspections of products and materials to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Adjust machine settings and parameters as necessary to maintain product quality and meet specifications.
- Document production data, including quantities produced, machine performance, and quality results.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines, including cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency.
- Report any significant machine malfunctions or safety concerns to the supervisor.
- Work closely with other team members and departments to coordinate production activities and address any operational issues.
- Assist in training new employees on machine operation and safety procedures.
- Lead and supervise a team of production workers to ensure adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
