Boiler Operator

**Job Title**: Boiler Operator (2nd Class)

**Department**: Operations / Maintenance
**Location**: Mehsana, Gujarat
**Reporting To**: Maintenance / Plant Manager

**Job Summary**:
The 2nd Class Boiler Operator will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and monitoring the steam boilers and auxiliary equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation in compliance with statutory and company standards.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Operate and maintain high-pressure boilers and related systems.
- Monitor boiler operations, parameters, and fuel consumption to ensure efficient performance.
- Carry out regular checks on boiler water levels, pressure, temperature, and safety devices.
- Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and lubrication of boiler equipment.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations.
- Maintain accurate operational logs and maintenance records.
- Report any malfunction, leakage, or irregularity to the maintenance supervisor immediately.
- Assist in shutdowns, start-ups, and periodic inspections.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams for preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of fuel and water treatment chemicals.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Must hold a **2nd Class Boiler Attendant Certificate** issued by the Competent Authority.
- Minimum **2-5 years of experience** operating industrial boilers.
- Good knowledge of boiler operation, safety procedures, and maintenance practices.
- Ability to work in shifts and handle emergency situations responsibly.

Pay: ₹13,129.19 - ₹33,153.54 per month
