Job Profile Summary

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Closely supervised to design, develop, test, deploy and maintain software solutions as prioritized by the business including creating and updating system documentation and training materials
- Assist with design, development, testing, maintenance and documentation of reliable and scalable software solutions, as prioritized by the business, according to facts, policies and practices that will support user requirements. Explains facts, policies and practices
- Assist with projects and processes through entire system development life cycle
- Assist in gathering and documenting business requirements from users to determine the capabilities that need to be delivered
- Coordinate and communicate development activities with other team members
- Follow defined change control and compliance procedures associated with software development, including all required documentation and governance standards
- Assist team members in deploying existing solutions in other business areas
- Interact with business users via consulting and training to ensure effective use of technology services

Education
- Bachelor's Degree in MIS, computer science, mathematics, other related field, or an equivalent combination of formal education and the following job related experience:
Work Experience
- Experience with at least one development language and/or software development project
- Experience with databases
- Experience with software development and programming concepts/techniques
- Experience with software development lifecycle methodology and basic project management concepts
- Experience with basic technology infrastructure concepts

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Skills in: use and function of office equipment including computers and applicable software
- Ability to: interact, advise and communicate effectively
- Ability to: communicate and/or exchange information or instruction; conduct oral presentations and/or meetings
