**Role Summary**:
In the role of Product Owner at SHL, you will work closely with your agile team to define and build the products which are at the heart of SHL's offering to our clients. You will build world-class products which help companies attract, retain, and develop talent globally. You will work closely with a cross-functional agile team to develop and enhance your product. This will give you exposure to working with business analysts, UX / UI designers, product managers, software engineers, and QA engineers.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Own the product backlog in line with the priorities set by the Senior Product Manager or Product Management Director
- Support the definition the key product features by looking at insight from industry trends and competitive analysis.
- Work closely with the UX and technical teams to define the scope and finalize the technical implementation for new product features
- Write high quality user stories along with the relevant acceptance criteria, including where needed working with Business Analysts
- Prioritize and groom the backlog, working with UX, Business Analysts, and Product Managers
- Review and prioritize incoming bugs to ensure that your product maintains high-quality. As appropriate, identify trends in the bugs and work with Engineering to determine appropriate long-term approaches.
- Manage the daily scrum process and help clear blockers by providing necessary product inputs
- Work with your Scrum Master and / or Project Manager to ensure there is clarity on status of scoping and execution for your products.
- Leverage techniques such as personas, stakeholder maps, customer journey maps, customer lifecycle maps, and user story mapping to develop and refine new product concepts.
- Carry out product acceptability testing to ensure seamless user experience
- Create and manage high-quality documentation for use by support, operational, and commercial teams.
- Support the development of appropriate product demos to key internal and external stakeholder
- Live SHL's values and behaviors

**Experience**:

- At least 3 years of product management experience or equivalent
- Experience of agile product management particularly within a software / SaaS product line
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- Experience of working with user groups or customers to capture and prioritize their needs
