Product Owner

This role seeks an individual who can work within teams as well as independently. Your primary responsibility will be to manage Digital Products throughout their Lifecycle, from requirement analysis to development, roll-out and future updates. You will create Product Roadmap and manage Product Backlog. You will drive such projects in an Agile setup and manage project teams. Good communication skills are required so that you can work comfortably in a global setup. A commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and a quality product are essential to succeed in this role, you must have bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 4+ years of experience as Product Owner or Business Analyst, and exposure to Business Process Analysis

**You will join our Digital Development Centre** department

As our new Product Owner - Digital Development Centre you will be part of Digital Development Centre which is our inhouse centre for automation and development of digital products. Our mission is to digitalize and automate our engineering processes, freeing and enabling our engineers and consultants to focus even more on bringing value and sustainable solutions to our clients. We focus on the areas of Computational Design, Software as a Service (SaaS) and Virtual Design and Construction (VDC), RPA, AR/VR etc. Digital Development Centre is a subordinate of Group Digital & Innovation and co-located with Ramboll Engineering Centre (REC) in Gurgaon and Hyderabad, India.

Digital Development Centre focuses on handling complex challenges in engineering, creating and feeding automated processes to our developers for creation on new tools and processes. Its teams will be solving problems with other experienced engineers globally using innovative and creative approaches on challenges not solved before. They work across disciplines and markets with a portfolio ranging from smaller automation initiatives to innovative projects. Its aligned to the organisations vision and strategy in transforming Ramboll into the digital leader within the industry.

**Your key tasks and responsibilities will be**:
In your role as Product owner, you will be expected to work closely with stakeholders on Digital Products from Conceptualisation to roll-out and scaling. You will also lead process workshops to define and document the As-is and To-be Business Processes. As a part of this, you will be required to educate business users responsible for managing and operating business processes for process Standardisation.

You will be also responsible to identify the right user stories and document them post process discovery to ensure that the business objectives are met.

This role requires you to be able to solve problems in a creative way
- Bachelor's degree in the field of computer science, information systems, or computer engineering.
- 4+ years of experience in Product Management, Business Analysis and Process Analysis
- Ability to manage end-to-end Product Development projects with mínimal supervision and effectively drive requirement analysis with Stakeholders
- Experience of working in Agile-based projects with User Stories, Product Backlog and Sprints; knowledge and experience of Scrum framework
- Ability to independently conduct process workshops and define and document As-Is and To-Be processes
- Experience in process modelling, process and business architecture using BPMN, EPC
- Knowledge of BusinessOptix will be very helpful in this role
- Analyse process data, using PowerBI and deliver valuable insights
- Knowledge of engineering and construction domain will be helpful but not a mandatory requirement
- Should have led end to end engagements involving Digital product development and delivery, Process documentation, standardisation, optimisation and improvements
- Should be able to analyse product requirements and document them in the form of User Stories, maintain a Product backlog for the Product’s lifecycle
- Should be able to manage Project Teams
- Should be able to create process standard and guidelines
- Should have done gap analysis for As-is and industry best practices
