**Position Overview**:
A counselor provides professional guidance, support, and assistance to individuals or groups facing personal, social, academic, or career challenges. The counselor's primary goal is to help clients develop strategies to overcome obstacles, achieve their goals, and improve their overall well-being. This role involves active listening, empathy, and creating a safe, nonjudgmental environment for clients to share their thoughts and feelings.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct individual or group counseling sessions to address client concerns.
- Assess clients' needs through interviews, assessments, and observations.
- Develop personalized plans or strategies to help clients achieve their goals.
- Provide emotional support and guidance to clients dealing with challenges such as stress, anxiety, relationships, or career decisions.
- Offer resources and referrals to appropriate support services or professionals when necessary.
- Maintain confidential client records and adhere to ethical and legal standards.
- Monitor clients' progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed.
- Educate clients about coping strategies, decision-making skills, and goal-setting techniques.
- Collaborate with other professionals, such as teachers, employers, or healthcare providers, to coordinate care.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Empathy, patience, and the ability to build trust with clients.
- Problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
- Knowledge of counseling theories and techniques.
- Familiarity with relevant ethical guidelines and laws regarding client confidentiality.

**Educational Requirements**:

- A bachelor's or master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field (depending on the specific role).
- Licensure or certification as required by state or country regulations.

**Work Environment**:

- May work in schools, private practices, hospitals, community centers, or corporate offices.
- Flexible hours may be required to accommodate client schedules.

Pay: Up to ₹25,000.00 per month
