Key/Major Activities
Providing 24/7 shift operational support for a variety of security services and platformsMonitors the alert queue assigned by L1 and detailed analysis of security alertsProviding security operations, maintenance functions, and troubleshootingMonitoring of health of Security Components & sanity checks in every shiftPerforms deep-drive incident analysis by correlating data from various sourcesDetermines if a critical system or data set has been impacted & advises on remediation- Continually striving to reduce customer-impacting outages/degradations and restoring service to premium levels in a timely fashion
Technical Skills
Hands-on experience on - Cisco/Fortigate FirewallVery Good Knowledge of Switching, VLAN, Port Security, STP, Advance Switching concepts, and Wireless concepts.-
Advanced network and host-based intrusion detections, incident response procedures, log reviews and basic malware assessmentIncident management: Opening, investigating, and resolving incident ticketsHands-on experience on monitoring tools like ZABBIX, SolarWinds etc.Hands-on experience on OSS (Eg, SNOW / HPSM)Basic trouble shooting experience on Cisco/FortiGate FW/Aruba WLC devices.Strong Knowledge of Switching, VLAN, Port Security, STP and Wireless concepts.Strong knowledge of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies (TCP/IP, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, etc.).Hands-on experience in configuration and troubleshooting routing protocols like BGP, ISIS, OSPFKnowledge of Static and Dynamic routing, L2/L3 VPN.- Knowledge of access list, IP Sub-netting, OSI & TCP/IP, NAT, DHCP.
