- 4 years experience in Counsellor or similar role.
- Minimum experience:

- 1-2 years of experience in academic counseling or a relevant educational role.

Education:

- Minimum: Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.

Skillset:

- Good communication skills
- Proficiency with MS Office
- Familiarity with academic advising software

**Profile introduction**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions with students to discuss academic goals, career aspirations, and personal development.
- Provide guidance on course selection, program requirements, and academic policies to ensure students make informed decisions.
- Assist students in developing personalized academic plans and monitor their progress towards academic and career objectives.
- Identify and address academic challenges, offering solutions and resources to help students overcome obstacles.
- Collaborate with faculty and other support services to create a supportive and conducive learning environment for students.
- Organize and participate in workshops, seminars, and events aimed at promoting academic success and student engagement.
- Stay informed about educational trends, career opportunities, and industry developments to better advise students.

**Requirements**:

- Experience working in an educational institution or similar setting.
- Familiarity with academic advising software and tools.
- Knowledge of current trends and issues in higher education.
