- Implement common governance framework for credit risk and ensure uniformity of credit standards
- Proactive assessment of Credit Risks and impact to ensure a healthy credit portfolio
- Proactive monitoring of the credit portfolio via monitoring external environment/ events and other tools like EWS, LRM, SMA etc
- Actively manage a team of credit personnel to ensure effective Loan Review.
- Periodically hold review meetings with the Heads of business segments and the respective verticals to discuss quality of their credit portfolio
- Compliance with regulatory guidelines pertaining to credit risk & Basel guidelines
- Strengthen existing credit and risk policies. Add new processes /policies to manage any new risks identified
- Ensure that the Bank assumes Credit risk within approved appetite
- Periodic and timely disclosure of credit risk assessment
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of credit risk related data for various purposes

**Qualification
Chartered accountant

**Pre-Requisites
- Between 8 and 12 years of experience in a Bank in the area of credit underwriting
- Experience and expertise in using any one or more among Python / SAS / R. Intermediate level SQL skills will be useful.
- Experience in areas like delinquency or loan loss forecasting, expected credit losses capital computation under advanced approaches.
- Above average to advanced excel skills
- Experience in projects involving automation / data consolidation in the areas of risk or financial reporting would be an advantage
