**Job Summary**
- GBS RRSD Unit comes under the Group Risk and CFCR Function. It handles wide spectrum of activities to support the Enterprise Risk Management, Traded Risk Management, Risk & Compliance Reporting
- Wholesale Credit and Country Risk Reporting (WCCRR)- The primary responsibility of this role is delivery of CIB credit risk reporting and MI, working directly with and supporting the group CIB credit risk team, which rolls up to into the Global Head of Reporting, Risk & CFCR. The risk reports are used by risk managers, Group Risk Framework Owners, committees and senior management, Regulators, and other internal stakeholders.

**Key Responsibilities**
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Responsible for the second line of defence responsibilities related to Credit Risk, which involves oversight and challenge of risk management actions from the First Line, including the following:
- The Group’s Enterprise Risk Management Framework (“ERMF”) with regards to Credit Risk, which sets out the Group’s approach to risk management and the control framework within which risks are managed and risk-return trade-offs are made.
- The Group’s Risk Appetite Framework, with regards to Credit Risk, which sets out the Group’s appetite to material risk types that it is exposed to. Monitor compliance to Board approved risk appetite using the risk information report covering principal risk-types Credit Risk; and highlight significant matters to the attention of senior management.
- Assist in ensuring a robust effectiveness review process for the ERMF with regards to Credit Risk and escalate significant matters and/or gaps in ERMF implementations to senior management.
- Assist in the preparation of all Industry Portfolio Mandates (IPMs) or its replacement, including governance/process oversight for FIs (herein refer to “Credit Risk Industries”, refer to Reference Note).
- Reference Note: Credit Risk Industries include (1) Oil & Gas, (2) CTA, (3) Shipping Finance, (4) Metals & Mining, (5) Aviation Finance, (6) Project Export finance, (7) CRE and (8) any other industries that are currently not in the list, but included as Business / RA **Strategy**

**Responsible for the following**:
- Building a culture of good conduct in the CIB Risk Reporting function and embedding the Risk Reporting Standards and ERMF.
**Strategy**
- Assist in the planning and development of risk parameters under Credit Risk Industries, Credit Underwriting Principles according to Risk Tolerance and Policy Frameworks and documents in portfolio standards.
- Assist in the planning and development of risk parameters according to Risk Tolerance and Policy Frameworks and documents.
- Identify, measure, and monitor risk profiles at the portfolio level under Credit Risk Industries and ensure alignment of strategy across the various Regions.
- In relations to the Credit Risk Industries and Credit Underwriting Principles, inform the development of business plans (if any) and a balanced judgment on the external environment
**Skills and Experience**

- Assist in aligning strategy of the Risk Reporting function with business strategy and risk appetite for the Credit Risk Industries and Credit Underwriting Principles.
- Identify, measure, and monitor material risk affecting CIB portfolio reporting in the context of the external market environment.
- Maintain and develop the risk capabilities, and skills to meet ongoing business needs and plans.

- Assist in control of portfolio within the set risk parameters to ensure risk profile within risk tolerances for reporting and governance purposes.
- Ensure compliance with applicable internal policies, and external laws and regulations, insofar as related to Credit Risk Industries. / Reporting.
- Continuously improve the operational efficiency and effectiveness of the risk management, reporting and governance processes.
