Mission:
The mission of the logistics coordinator in Dr. B Lal Clinical Laboratory is to ensure efficient and timely collection, transportation, and delivery of samples from collection centers to the laboratory, as well as the distribution of reports and supplies to various pick-up points and branches. The primary goal is to streamline the logístical processes to support the diagnostic operations, ensuring the smooth flow of samples and information while maintaining the integrity and quality of the diagnostic services provided.

Role and responsibilities:
Sample Collection Management:
Coordinate with collection centers to schedule sample pickups according to established routes and schedules.

Ensure the proper labeling, packaging, and handling of collected samples to maintain sample integrity during transportation.

Monitor collection center performance and address any issues related to sample collection procedures.

Transportation and Dispatch:
Organize the efficient transportation of samples from collection centers to the laboratory or processing facility.

Coordinate with courier services or in-house logistics teams to ensure timely sample delivery.

Track and trace sample shipments to ensure they reach the laboratory within specified timeframes.

Branch Activities Support:
Assist in managing branch logistics activities such as inventory management, supply procurement, and distribution of diagnostic kits and materials.

Coordinate with branch staff to address logístical challenges and ensure smooth operations.

Provide support for branch-specific logistics needs, including equipment maintenance and repair, as necessary.

Quality Assurance and Compliance:
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies related to sample handling, transportation, and storage.

Implement quality control measures to minimize the risk of sample contamination or loss during transit.

Conduct regular audits and inspections of logístical processes to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to quality standards.

Customer Service:
Act as a point of contact for collection centers, pick-up points, and branches regarding logístical inquiries and concerns.

Respond promptly to customer queries or complaints related to sample collection, transportation, or delivery.

Collaborate with customer service teams to address customer feedback and improve service delivery.

Reporting and documentation:
Maintain accurate records of sample collections, transportation activities, and inventory levels.

Generate regular reports on logístical performance metrics such as on-time delivery rates, sample transit times, and inventory turnover.

Provide data analysis and insights to support decision-making and process optimization initiatives.

Qualification
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or a related field.

Experience in sample collection, handling, or transportation logistics is an advantage.

A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is essential.
