LEPRA Society is an organisation working for people affected by Leprosy, lymphatic filariasis, TB, HIV/AIDS & other NTDs, Eye Care and governed by a board comprising of distinguished individuals from across India.

**Purpose of the position**:
Responsible for the overall internal and external communications of LEPRA Society, in particular for producing creative written and visual content to the projects/activities related to Resource Mobilisation & Communications Unit of LEPRA. Moreover, she/he will be responsible for the management of LEPRA’s social media platforms ensuring overall engagement and quality.

***Location: Head Office, Hyderabad.**

**What you would do**:
S/he shall:

- Ensure that LEPRA’s website is regularly updated, maintained and made more visible.
- Develop and maintain LEPRA’s presence on social networking sites ( Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, You Tube)
- Create stories, case studies, blogs, photo stories, newsletters, info graphics and overall programme briefs for key contributors and collaborations.
- Lead the on-going development of the design, content, production for monthly magazine and annual report.
- Contribute to the planning and arrangements for events, in particular communication/ marketing material.
- New proposals writing.
- Develop media strategy, draft press releases and respond to media queries; build relationships with media.
- Liaise with LEPRA UK in sharing case studies/ patient stories.
- Any other assignment, which will be entrusted from time-to-time as required by the organization.

**Requirements**:

- Willingness to meet beneficiaries from different disease areas and capture their stories.
- Ability to handle and analyse data.
- Willingness to travel to different states/project locations as and when needed.
- Working knowledge of design & other online tools (Canva, WordPress, Photoshop, Filmora etc.).
- Collaborative and responsive to internal/external stakeholders.

**Also you need to have**:

- Outstanding English written and verbal communication skills.
- To communicate sensitively & effectively and be empathetic.
- Should be ready to join immediately

**Qualification & Experience**:

- Master’s degree or equivalent in Media/Communication/ Journalism/Marketing from a recognized university with 1 to 3 years’ experience in marketing/ Advertising/ Media.
- Must be able to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and video format
- Display in-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, You Tube etc) and web publishing.
- Working knowledge of Photoshop, illustrator, moviemaker and InDesign
- Strong analytical reasoning skills and an ability to think and execute strategically

**Salary: Twenty Five Thousand Gross**
