1. Check all sefty operting requirments for machine and follow the daily Maintenance check list.2. Warm up cycle: run the machine for approximatly 10 minutes, to be performed prior to execution of high precision setting jobs (0.003 mm) and if the machine is idle for more than 8 hrs.4. Follow the work instruction as per the communication from the supervisor/previous opertor/communication book.5. Study the drawing and plan the sequence of operations. Check the supplied drawing whether it is controlled and the in-process Inspection report for any communication from the previous work center 6. Check for the estimated hours. If there is mismatch on self-estimation, thn contact process planner/supervisor.7. Re-check the already machined part for the critical dimension / dameges before starting the machining activity. 8. Ensure that sufficient stock is there for grinding.9. Prepare a rough sketch on the work book if required. Write down the required dimensions in the sketch that is not given sketch that is not given in the master drawing 10. Select the required grinding wheel. For the selection of grinding wheel follow the selection guide( wheel follow the selection guide().11. After seletion, mount the grinding wheel in flange:12. If the wheel is new, it should be balanced statically before mounting and also after truing by dressing. For balancing, work instruction ng. for balancing work Instruction 13. Dress the wheel t true its shape. For grinding solt or step, dress the outer surface and side of the grinding wheel, for dressing the work instruction. 14. For grinding angle, dress the wheel required angle on the grinding wheel using sine dresser.Make sure that the dressed angle is enough to cover the angle on the work piece 15. For grinding slot or step, dress the wheel required size and make sure it is ok for grinding.16. The orientation for the machine should be marked on the job. While machining angles draw a concept sketch on the workbook showing how to set job (vertical or horzontalical or Horizontal) with respect to the formed wheel.17. Set the work on machine bed, using vice, fixtures, and steel blocks, which are proportional to the cross section of the job. Provide maximum support on the side to which the cutting force is acting.18. Set the table dogs and bring the wheel close to the work, then switch on the spindle.19. Check the auto cycle setting is is OFF condition before start machining. Start the hydraulic motor and the table movement 20. Use the dummy blocks having almost same height of the work piece to elimate error and also ensure the right angle of the dummy block. Check the+/- sigh before entering DRO from dummy or test job. 21. Make the work in touch with the grinding wheel and start the grinding.
