8x8 is looking for an experienced Load & Resiliency Tester who is passionate about delivering quality through test automation and cares deeply about delivering the most value to end users as quickly and safely as possible.

**You are**:

- You are passionate about testing cloud based communications platforms and apps;
- You have a test driven mindset firmly rooted in years of developing quality software;
- You have the ability to analyze complex situations/problems involving internal and 3rd party systems and deliver logical and efficient solutions;
- You have developed automation, tools and infrastructure that help engineers develop, test, debug and release software quickly.

**Responsibilities**:

- Architect, design, develop, deploy and maintain tooling, framework and infrastructure to help engineering teams measure and increase their velocity;
- Contribute to most of the following areas: web app testing, mobile app testing, script/tool generation, test automation, Continuous Integration / Delivery (CI/CD), test plan generation, documentation, problem solving/analysis, troubleshooting complex issues, and bug/defect tracking and reporting;
- Perform extensive manual and automated functionality, integration, regression, interoperability and end-to-end system testing
- Evaluate and integrate open source & proprietary tools/libraries to the existing automation;
- Flexible in closely working with geo dispersed teams in local, US(west) and European time zones on test strategy, debugging, training, sprint planning and scrum meetings.

**Requirements**:

- BS or MS in CS / EE / CE or equivalent related work experience;
- Minimum 7 years of proven experience with building test automation for mobile web and desktop apps and REST API’s;
- 5+ years of experience with test automation development using Java & Python, Junit, TestNG, Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber, REST-Assured and Appium from the ground up;
- Hands-on experience building CI automation pipelines using Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes;
- Experience working with public cloud (OCI, AWS, Azure, GCP);
- Sound knowledge of Manual & Automation Testing best practices in QE.

**Preferred qualifications**:

- Working knowledge of Unified Communications and Contact Center domain.
