**About the Role**:
We are looking for a **3D Lighting Intern** to enhance the visual storytelling of our projects by creating stunning lighting setups for **games, animation, or VFX**. This role is perfect for someone who understands the impact of light on mood, depth, and realism. You’ll work closely with **environment artists, animators, and rendering specialists** to develop lighting solutions that bring scenes to life.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Design and implement **realistic, cinematic, or stylized lighting** in 3D environments.
- Work with **global illumination, shadows, and reflections** to enhance visual storytelling.
- Optimize lighting for **performance and visual quality** based on project requirements.
- Collaborate with the art team to match lighting with **scene composition, mood, and color balance**.
- Adjust **light intensity, color temperature, and shadows** for realistic or artistic effects.
- Assist in **rendering and post-processing** to enhance the final look of scenes.

**Requirements**:

- Basic proficiency in **Blender, Unreal Engine, Maya, or other 3D software**.
- Understanding of **lighting fundamentals**, including three-point lighting, HDRI, and PBR workflows.
- Familiarity with **real-time vs. pre-rendered lighting techniques**.
- A keen eye for **color theory, contrast, and atmospheric effects**.
- Ability to take direction and adapt lighting setups based on feedback.
- **Portfolio/demo reel showcasing lighting work** (renders, projects, or coursework).

**Bonus Skills (Not Mandatory, But Great to Have)**:

- Experience with **Unreal Engine’s lighting tools** (Lumen, Ray Tracing, etc.).
- Knowledge of **shader creation and light baking**.
- Familiarity with **rendering engines like Arnold, V-Ray, or Cycles**.
- Basic understanding of **compositing and post-production**.

Contract length: 3 months

Pay: ₹10,000.00 per month
