**Job Summary**:
**Job Role and responsibilities**:

- Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:_
- Coordinating shipments from start to finish, including arranging transport and liaising with carriers, vendors & customers.
- Managing customs clearance procedures and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Maintaining accurate records of all shipments and ensuring timely delivery.
- Liaising with clients to provide information and updates on shipment status, and resolving any issues that arise.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, carriers and other stakeholders.
- Identifying areas for improvement in the operations process and implementing solutions to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Providing leadership and direction to team members, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Ensuring adherence to all health and safety regulations.

**Skills**:

- Self-starter
- Must have good problem solving and negotiation skills
- Must have good teamwork skills and strong self-motivation.
- Good communication skills both to co-workers and customers, suppliers
- Passionate and proactive
- Thorough knowledge of Ocean Import product related procedures and requirements

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in freight forwarding operation.
