**Video Editor Intern**

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in editing raw footage into engaging and polished videos.
- Collaborate with the creative team to develop video concepts and storyboards.
- Incorporate visual effects, transitions, and other elements to enhance the overall quality of videos.
- Trim and rearrange footage to improve pacing and narrative flow.
- Add music, sound effects, and voiceovers to enhance the storytelling process.
- Color correct and adjust video footage to maintain visual consistency.
- Assist with the organization and management of video assets and project files.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in video editing software and techniques.
- Support the production team during video shoots and other related tasks as needed.

**Requirements**:

- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a film production, digital media, communications, or related program.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Strong understanding of video editing techniques, including pacing, timing, and storytelling.
- Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- A portfolio showcasing video editing projects (academic or personal projects are acceptable).

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Basic knowledge of motion graphics and animation software (e.g., Adobe After Effects).
- Experience with color grading and correction techniques.
- Knowledge of audio editing and mixing.
- Familiarity with camera operation and basic cinematography principles.
