We’re looking to start working with someone contractually, eventually moving them to a full-time role.Video on social platforms is one of the most important elements of our growth engine - both as paid performance ads, as well as organic content. We're looking for an editor who can help us create thumb-stopping videos that tell interesting stories.The editor will also have ownership of the overall storytelling, which, over time, will include contributing to scripting, planning B-roll, screenplay / direction, camerawork and other parts of the entire video creation process. We will also need them to take charge of project management for video development - essentially track videos from ideation to completion.If this excites you, we’d love to talkPreferencesProficiency in video editing, with a focus on social media and streaming; eagerness to explore new media (especially generative AI)Proficiency with industry-standard design tools (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite)Experience with D2C brandsGood skills to have: strong communication, attention to detail and project managementPrior experience in contract-based roles or remote work is beneficialExperience in developing Branding concepts and materials is a bonusBachelor’s degree in animation, editing, fine arts or a related field preferred
