**Role Description Summary**:
**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**:
**Essential Duties**
- Develop, lead and execute international Sourcing strategy for assigned commodities, analyze global markets, and management of supply base.
- Manage direct supplier relationships in all aspects including commercial and supply chain management, NPI support, root-cause analysis of issues, problem resolution, and improving supplier manufacturing process.
- Work effectively cross-functionally to develop and execute Sourcing strategies to deliver against Material Cost Take Out, Quality, Delivery, Cash goals
- Drive project identification, resource allocation and execution in Commodities.
- Lead strategic negotiations and review all agreements prior to execution.
- Leverage key supplier relationships to resolve major supply issues at all sites.
- Introduce supplier innovation whenever possible to improve GEA's costs and features.
- Serve as a liaison between Sourcing, other business functions, and suppliers to ensure team and suppliers are effectively supporting the programs and NPI efforts.
- Generate reports ? Spend, Cost Out, track contracts expiry.

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- Bachelor"s degree
- Solid track record of project leadership and execute with significant and impactful results
- Strong project management and execution skills
- Professional oral/written communication
- Demonstrated ability to influence and drive change with team members, and at all levels of the organization
- Proven strong problem solving and collaborative skills to develop and implement business strategies cross-functionally and globally
- Demonstrated team player with a strong initiative to win
- Change agent with excellent facilitative leadership and problem solving skills
- Must have strong English skills
- Must be able to work during India hours: 10am-7pm (or 12:30am ? 9:30am US ESD)
- Preferred Qualifications:

- Bachelor"s degree in Engineering or Business
- 2 years of IT Analytics, reporting experience with a flair for IT \DT Sourcing or would like to move to IT\DT Sourcing
- Working knowledge of Sourcing Systems and processes
- Demonstrated understanding of commodity-specific elements (ex.)
- Commodity-specific elements (ex.Home Appliances, IOT ) New Product Introduction (NPI) experience gained while working in operations, research and development and/or manufacturing
- Demonstrated Lean experience
- Six Sigma certification or equivalent
