Job Description: Videographer and Video EditorPosition Overview:
Key Responsibilities:

- **Videography**:

- Plan, shoot, and direct video content for various projects including promotional videos, social media content, corporate videos, and events.
- Operate and maintain video equipment such as cameras, lighting, and microphones.
- Set up and manage video shoots, ensuring proper lighting, sound, and composition.
- Collaborate with clients and team members to understand project goals and requirements.
- **Video Editing**:

- Edit raw footage into polished videos, incorporating music, sound effects, graphics, and special effects.
- Ensure the final product aligns with the project’s vision and meets the client's specifications.
- Color correct and grade video to achieve the desired look and feel.
- Optimize videos for different platforms and formats, including web, social media, and broadcast.
- **Project Management**:

- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to provide updates and gather feedback.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in videography and video editing.
- **Creative Input**:

- Contribute to the creative process by brainstorming and pitching ideas for new video content.
- Continuously improve video content by incorporating feedback and experimenting with new techniques.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Videographer and Video Editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
- Experience with motion graphics and animation software like After Effects is a plus.
- Strong understanding of video production processes, from pre-production to post-production.
- Excellent visual storytelling skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.

Additional Skills:

- Knowledge of color grading and sound editing.
- Familiarity with different video formats and codecs.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

**Education**:

- A degree or diploma in Film Production, Media Studies, Communications, or a related field is preferred but not required. Relevant work experience and a strong portfolio are highly valued.

Work Environment:

- This position may require working in various environments, including office settings, outdoor locations, and client sites.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed for shoots and deadlines.
