Job Overview

As a Student Counselor at Metailearn, you will play a crucial role in supporting and guiding students through their educational journey on our platform. You will be responsible for providing academic and emotional support, helping students set and achieve their goals, and fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Academic Guidance : Provide personalized academic counseling to students, assisting them in setting realistic academic goals and developing study plans.

2. Emotional Support : Offer empathetic and confidential counseling to address students' emotional and personal challenges that may impact their learning experience.

3. Goal Setting : Collaborate with students to establish short-term and long-term academic and personal goals, and track progress towards achievement.

4. Resource Navigation : Assist students in navigating Metailearn's platform, ensuring they are utilizing available resources effectively for optimal learning outcomes.

5. Communication : Maintain regular communication with students to address concerns, provide feedback, and celebrate achievements, fostering a positive and supportive atmosphere.

6. Collaboration : Collaborate with other departments, including content creators and customer support, to enhance the overall student experience on the Metailearn platform.

7. Data Analysis : Analyze student performance data to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for improvement, and provide insights to enhance the effectiveness of the Metailearn platform.

**Qualifications**:
1. Bachelor's degree in related field.

2. Proven experience in academic counseling, preferably in an educational technology setting.

3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

4. Empathy and understanding of the challenges students face in their educational journey.

5. Familiarity with online learning platforms and educational technologies.

6. Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.

7. Certification in counseling or a related field is a plus.
