Read and understand the standard operating procedure manual
- Receive, accession, and specimens following procedures detailed in the SOP.
- Enter donor information (but not test results) into Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS/LIS.)
- Store specimens at appropriate temperatures for the durations specified in the SOP.
- Management of sample outsource and followup with partner lab for the reports.
- Retrieve specimens from storage and aliquot for re-testing, properly
- Maintain supplies in the receiving/accessioning area sufficient to fulfill job duties.
- Cover specimen collection observation duties, as needed.
- Management of reagents and materials in the department.
- Perform statistics of sample receipt, logistics delay, pending documents and regulatory requirements.
- Run the internal and external quality control programmes in the department.
- Report to Head of Lab Operations/Lab Director.
- Performing special and routine investigation and maintaining relevant registers.
- Ensure waste segregation of waste as per the norms.
- Follow all the protocols for the waste segregation.
