Production Executive

**Job Summary**:
The Production Executive in a car rental service is responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations related to vehicle availability, fleet management, and service production. The role ensures smooth, efficient, and customer-centric car rental operations, with a focus on optimizing vehicle readiness, service quality, and operational performance.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Fleet Management**:

- Monitor vehicle availability and ensure proper allocation of cars based on customer demand.
- Track the condition of the fleet, including scheduling regular maintenance, servicing, and repairs.
- Ensure that all vehicles are cleaned, fueled, and ready for customer rentals.
- Conduct regular audits of the fleet to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- **Operational Efficiency**:

- Assist in the planning and implementation of daily operations to ensure rental targets are met.
- Coordinate with various departments (maintenance, customer service, logistics) to optimize workflows.
- Oversee the timely return of vehicles and manage the fleet’s turnover efficiently.
- Ensure vehicles are promptly returned from rental, cleaned, checked, and reissued.
- **Customer Service**:

- Work closely with the customer service team to address any operational issues related to rentals.
- Resolve any customer complaints or operational bottlenecks related to vehicle availability or condition.
- Ensure vehicles are delivered to customers as per the agreed-upon schedule and specifications.
- **Data and Reporting**:

- Track and report on fleet performance, vehicle utilization, and operational costs.
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle availability, maintenance schedules, and rental history.
- Analyze performance data and provide recommendations for improving rental operations and fleet performance.
- **Compliance and Safety**:

- Ensure compliance with local and national regulations regarding vehicle rentals.
- Oversee the safety inspection process for vehicles before and after rental.
- Monitor insurance and rental agreements to ensure all legal and regulatory standards are met.
- **Coordination with Marketing and Sales**:

- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to ensure vehicle availability aligns with promotional campaigns and rental demands.
- Provide feedback on customer preferences and trends to help shape future offerings.
- **Team Management**:

- Supervise and train staff involved in vehicle management, maintenance, and customer-facing operations.
- Ensure the team follows operational guidelines and safety protocols.

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
- **Experience**: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in car rental or a similar operations-focused role.
- **Skills**:

- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in the use of fleet management software and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures and safety regulations.
