**Job Title: Drama Teacher**
**Summary**: As a Drama Teacher, you will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging and comprehensive drama curriculum to students, fostering their creativity, self-expression, and confidence through theatrical arts. You will create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students can explore various aspects of drama, including acting techniques, improvisation, script analysis, and stagecraft.
**Responsibilities**:
- **Curriculum Development**: Design and develop a dynamic and age-appropriate drama curriculum that aligns with educational standards and the school's mission.
- **Lesson Planning**: Plan and prepare engaging and interactive lessons that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of students, incorporating a variety of teaching methods and resources.
- **Instruction**: Deliver instruction in drama techniques, including acting, voice projection, movement, and characterization, while fostering students' creativity and critical thinking skills.
- **Directing Productions**: Direct and oversee student productions, guiding students through the rehearsal process, blocking scenes, and providing constructive feedback to help them develop their performance skills.
- **Facilitate Performances**: Organize and facilitate drama performances and showcases, providing students with opportunities to showcase their talents and achievements to the school community and beyond.
- **Assessment and Feedback**: Assess student progress through observation, performance evaluations, and other assessment methods, providing timely and constructive feedback to support their growth and development.
- **Classroom Management**: Establish and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment conducive to student learning and creativity, managing behavior effectively and promoting mutual respect and cooperation among students.
- **Collaboration**: Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and community members to support the overall development and success of students, participating in school events, meetings, and professional development activities as required.
- **Professional Development**: Stay current with developments in drama education and pedagogy, engaging in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching practices and student learning outcomes.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Drama, Theatre Education, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Teaching certification/license in Drama or Performing Arts.
- Previous teaching experience, preferably in drama or performing arts education.
- Strong knowledge of drama techniques, acting methods, and theatrical production processes.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Passion for working with students and fostering their creativity, confidence, and self-expression through drama.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and community members.
- Commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students.
Pay: ₹25,360.14 - ₹35,006.12 per month
