B.Des/M.Des, B.A/MA. or any other professional graduate

**Role Overview**:
As a UI Designer you will craft beautiful interfaces that are intuitive to use. You will collaborate with UX leads and business analysts to translate user requirements into functional interfaces, creating a cohesive experience for end-users. You will ensure the designs adhere to UI standards and best practices.

**Objectives of this Role**:

- Design interfaces that are visually appealing and functionally efficient
- Create a seamless experience for diverse user roles
- Design UI components that align with the brand, while also being flexible for customization
- Develop interfaces that are inclusive and meet accessibility standards (such as WCAG)
- Optimize screens for use across multiple devices
- Collaborate with UX designers, developers, and end-users to understand pain points and continuously improve the interface based on usability testing and user feedback.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conducting user research and analysis of existing designs to understand user needs and product goals, either in collaboration with UX designers or independently
- Conducting competitor analysis to understand how users might expect the product to look and behave based on their experience with similar products
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts and UX designers to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience.
- Making decisions about aesthetic elements such as typography and color palettes, designing UI elements such as buttons, icons, forms, menus, dropdowns
- Designing the interactive properties of different UI elements. E.g. animations, transitions
- Creating wireframes and prototypes to communicate the look and feel of the UI before it is developed
- Developing and maintaining a UI style guide to ensure design consistency
- Present and defend design decisions based on the overall design roadmap as well as your own design thinking, fundamental principles and UI Standards

**Required Skills**:

- 2-4 Years of experience and proven track record
- Strong portfolio to be presented and defended during interview.
- Hands-on experience creating wireframes, prototypes, storyboards, user flows etc.
- Experience using tools such as Figma, Photoshop, Sketch, Illustrator, InVision
- Knowledge & understanding of visual design principles, interaction design principles, UX design principles and processes, information architecture, responsive design, designing for inclusivity and accessibility
- Highly creative with a problem-solving mindset.
- Excellent visual skills and attention to detail
- Ability to present your designs and sell your solutions to various stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.

**Additional Skills**:

- Understanding of basic front-end languages: HTML5, CSS3 JavaScript
- Understanding of WordPress
- Experience working in an agile/scrum development process.
