Key Accountability/Role and Responsibilities
- Assist the doctor in various podiatric surgical procedures
- Independently perform callus scrapings, medical pedicure and dressings
- Performing various foot-related diagnostic procedures
- Assist the Doctor and Orthotist when consulting the Patients with Foot and Ankle Ailments
- Provide Off the shelf / Customized Orthosis and other products to the patient
- Scheduling Appointments of the patients
- Counselling of the patients on clinical outcomes and costs
- Billing / Cash Management
- Basic administrative activities
- Help the orthotist in creating customized orthotics.
- Manage the Stocks and Inventory at the clinic
- To ensure accurate, timely and reliable recording of all the clinical / non clinical / patient data
- To compile and send timely activity reports to the appropriate supervisor/responsible
- To refer clients to appropriate services, care and treatment,
- Optimizes patients’ satisfaction
- Comforts patients by anticipating patients’ anxieties, answering patients’ questions, and maintaining the reception area.
- Maintains inventory and equipment by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing and expediting orders for supplies, verifying receipt of supplies, and scheduling equipment service and repairs.
- Helps patients in distress by responding to emergencies.
- Protects patients’ rights by maintaining confidentiality of medical, personal, and financial information.
- Maintains operations by following policies and procedures, reporting needed changes.
- To ensure respectful use of all company property, intellectual or otherwise honoring non-disclosure and confidentiality

Education Qualification

Diploma in Nursing / Bachelor of Nursing

Experience

2-3 years, 1 year of OT experience is required.
