**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare a wide variety of baked goods such as breads, pastries, cakes, tarts, cookies, and other desserts.
- Design and update dessert and bakery menus in line with the restaurant’s concept.
- Ensure the consistent quality of baked items through precise techniques, recipes, and presentation standards.
- Monitor ingredient stock levels, ensure proper storage, and maintain inventory with mínimal waste.
- Ensure all baked goods are prepared, cooked, and presented according to recipes and quality standards.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation of the bakery and workstations at all times.
- Supervise junior pastry staff (if applicable), and train team members in baking techniques and food safety.
- Work with the procurement team to source high-quality ingredients at cost-effective prices.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health standards.
- Stay updated with baking trends and techniques, incorporating new ideas as appropriate.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Bakery Chef, Pastry Chef, or similar role in a professional kitchen or bakery.
- Culinary degree or certification in Baking & Pastry Arts preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and food safety practices.
- Creative flair and attention to detail in both flavor and presentation.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience in menu development for desserts and baked goods.
- Ability to design custom cakes or desserts for events.
- Knowledge of dietary baking (gluten-free, vegan, etc.).

**Work Environment**:

- Fast-paced restaurant kitchen
- Early morning shifts and weekends may be required
- Standing for long periods and lifting of heavy baking equipment/ingredients

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
