Position: Program Assistant - English Language Training

About the Organization: We are a reputable NGO dedicated to providing English language training to teachers in Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra. Our mission is to empower educators with the necessary skills to enhance the quality of education.

Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Program Assistant to join our team and support the Training Program Coordinator in developing and implementing training programs for teachers. As a Program Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of training activities and providing valuable assistance to teachers throughout their learning journey.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist the Training Program Coordinator in designing and developing English language training programs.
- Support the coordination and facilitation of training sessions and workshops for teachers.
- Collaborate with the Training Program Coordinator and trainers to ensure the delivery of high-quality training content.
- Help monitor and evaluate effectiveness of training programs through feedback collection and assessment.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to teachers, addressing their queries and concerns during the training process.
- Maintain accurate records and reports of training activities, ensuring proper documentation and organization.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Education, English, or a related field.
- Previous experience of 1-2 years in supporting or assisting in the delivery of training programs, preferably in English language teaching.
- Proficient in English language, both written and spoken.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with teachers and students.
- Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Google classrooms and other relevant software.
- Knowledge of the education sector and the challenges faced by teachers in Tamil Nadu will be an advantage.
