As a Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for implementing policies and processes required for regulatory and internal compliance of ANZ GIFT IBU. It will have ultimate responsibility for all compliance matters pertaining to IBU’s activities.

**You are also responsible of the following**:
Facilitating effective Compliance management across the IBU including group requirements.
Collating and preparing appropriate response for interacting with regulators to obtain clarifications on various regulations affecting businesses and seek regulatory approval.
Responding to Regulatory Audit observations, follow up with other departments for collating the data/ responses to audit observations, tracking of audit issues and follow up for corrective action.
Implementation of Compliance Framework, coordinate with ANZ ORM team for maintaining and updating compliance obligations register for various Legislative/ regulatory prescription.
Design and implementation of all policies and procedures required to set up GIFT IBUT to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal ANZ requirements.
Maintain and update FC Obligation Register and Compliance Plan for various regulatory/ legislative prescriptions.
Conduct investigation of reported compliance incidents, working closely with the ANZ Risk Team.
Provide clarification and advice to off-shore LOB and staff on queries specific to GIFT IBU regulations.

Extensive experience in compliance with understanding of the regulatory framework and regulations affecting various businesses, in particular IFSCA requirements, FEMA, etc.
Product knowledge and a broad understanding of the significance of regulations to each business.
Strong, decisive, action-oriented team player and excellent analytical skills.
Effective communicator both written and verbal with ability to interact with and work effectively with multi-cultural teams across geographies.
Demonstrate positive and can do attitude.
