**Position Title**: Order Processing Specialist
**Department**: Operations
**Reports to**: Operations Manager
The Order Processing Specialist is responsible for handling all aspects of customer order processing, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and timely fulfillment. This role requires close collaboration with inventory, sales, and shipping departments to maintain a smooth order workflow and high customer satisfaction.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. **Order Management**:
- Receive, review, and process customer orders in the system.
- Verify customer information, order details, and payment status before processing.
- Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure timely picking, packing, and shipment.
2. **Inventory Coordination**:
- Check product availability and update inventory records.
- Notify relevant departments of low stock and potential order delays.
- Collaborate with the inventory team to adjust order quantities based on stock levels.
3. **Customer Communication**:
- Confirm order details with customers and address any inquiries regarding order status.
- Communicate shipping updates and expected delivery times.
- Resolve any order discrepancies, returns, or complaints in a timely and professional manner.
4. **Data Management**:
- Maintain accurate records of orders and shipments.
- Use ERP or order management systems to track and update order progress.
- Generate reports on order volume, order accuracy, and fulfillment rates as required by the management.
5. **Quality Assurance**:
- Conduct regular checks to ensure orders are accurate and meet customer specifications.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards in the order process.
Key Qualifications **Experience**: 1-3 years in order processing, logistics, or related operations role.
- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in business, logistics, or a similar field.
- **Skills**:
- Proficiency in ERP/order management software.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹37,000.00 per month
