Telco Finance Anlyst

**About the role**:
Financially manage and control network cost for select countries

Identify any revenue leakages and/or cost exposures and drive corrective actions with relevant stakeholders (i.e OINIS as budget holders).

Be trusted business partner to and work closely with various business units and stakeholders, i.e. Orange Business Services (OBS) Sourcing, Accounting, Accounts Payable team, Inventory management team (CCIM), Auditors, outsourcing company, etc..

Be responsible for analysis & recommendations for sign-off for all Telco contracts

Manage virtual team of outsourced Telco Analysts based in India and manage relationship between outsourced Telco Analysts and internal Orange stakeholders

Work with outsourced staff to ensure invoices are received, validated for correctness, processed and paid in timely manner to avoid late fees and disconnections. Monitor all transactions related to payment of invoices.

Lead Circuit Invoice Validation activity and outsourced Telco Analysts in dispute resolutions with suppliers and provide feedback to OBS business stakeholders in OINIS and CSO on future process improvements to prevent cost overruns and make dispute process more efficient

Ensure outsourced staff delivers all Telco Finance reports within due dates: Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet, Inventory reports and Supplier Statement Reconciliations

Review in detail monthly Profit and Loss Reports and Balance Sheet reports to ensure accurate explanations are provided for cost variances and fluctuations in circuit inventory

Present Profit and Loss reports in monthly meetings to Business Owners

Responsible to ensure all billing (invoice processing) and accounting transactions (monthly accruals) performed by outsourced team are in accordance with external Accounting (GAAP) principles and internal guidance from Chief Accounting Office (accounting advisory to outsourced Telco Analysts staff)

Review and approve Supplier Statement Reconciliations and ensure they are delivered by outsourced Telco Analysts within due dates and in required quality

Ensure proper and timely interlock with Internal and External Auditors (coordinate with outsourced Telco Analysts on data provision and audit queries)

Review and validate (approve) OBS Sourcing saving initiatives

Ensure data quality and integrity in Telco Invoice Validation (TIV) tool: data Administration responsibilities

Review monthly Circuit Inventory Reporting Process (CIRP) reports prior to submission to Inventory Management team (CCIM). Follow CIRP instructions sent on monthly basis:

- Review in detail circuits with Operational Disconnection Dates
- Ensure circuits with over/under 5% cost variance are submitted with valid reason codes
- Ensure General Ledger accounts and Management Codes provided by Telco Finance align with ones provided by Inventory teams (CCIM)

Evaluate outsourced staff performance and submit Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports as per contract between OBS and outsourced company

Perform Telco Finance activities as per pre-determined targets, objectives and service level agreements

Perform ad-hoc reporting, financial reviews and other analysis as required by internal OBS stakeholders

Continuously seek to identify process improvements. Support efforts within Telco Finance teams to standardize global processes across all regions and support potential process automation initiatives to realize efficiency gains and simplification

**About you**:

- Accounting or Finance Graduate degree level
- Analytical skills required, with ability to understand, summarize and explain data. Be able to provide management summary of monthly cost movements from detailed reports.
- At least 6 years of work experience in Finance or Accounting roles
- Advanced Excel skills and knowledge of Oracle 11i are required
- Fluent in English
- Telecom industry experienced welcome and advantage
- Must have good auditing skills and be very detail oriented
- Be able to demonstrate commercial awareness in resolving disputes with suppliers is a considerable advantage
- Be able to highlight cost savings to the company
