Cpu - Operator

**A. Paques & Biological Treatment**
- Operate and monitor the ICX-Anaerobic Digester including pH, alkalinity, biogas generation, VFA/TA ratio, feeding control.
- Monitor and control aerobic treatment systems (aeration blowers, DO control, MLSS/MLVSS levels).
- Maintain proper loading rate, sludge wasting, nutrient dosing, and health of biomass.
- Record digester parameters and troubleshoot low pH, foaming, and feed fluctuations.

**B. Clarification & Chemical Treatment Units**
- Operate HRSCC including coagulant & flocculant dosing, flash mixing, and sludge blowdown.
- Monitor territorial clarifiers for turbidity, sludge blanket level, and TSS removal efficiency.
- Handle chemical preparation (lime, alum, PAC, polymer etc.).
- Maintain correct chemical dosing based on jar test results.

**C. Filtration Units (MGF & ACF)**
- Operate Multi-Grade Filter (MGF) and Activated Carbon Filter (ACF).
- Perform backwashing, air scouring, media health monitoring.
- Maintain pressure drop across filters and ensure filtrate quality.

**D. UF & RO Plant Operation**
- Operate and monitor UF membranes, backwash cycles, CIP operation.
- Operate the RO system, monitor pressures, flows, conductivity, SDI, recovery, and reject ratio.
- Perform RO CIP, cartridge filter changes, antiscalant dosing, and permeate quality checks.
- Troubleshoot scaling, fouling, low permeate flow, high differential pressure.

**E. General Operation & Maintenance**
- Daily operation of pumps, blowers, agitators, dosing systems, compressors etc.
- Carry out routine maintenance tasks like lubrication, tightening, and house-keeping.
- Coordinate with the maintenance team for breakdown repairs.
- Maintain log sheets, daily reports, chemical consumption reports.

**F. Compliance & Safety**
- Ensure treated water quality meets PCB norms.
- Maintain safe work practices and use PPE at all times.
- Handle chemicals safely and follow MSDS instructions.

**G. Skills & Competencies**
- Strong knowledge of ETP, RO, UF, Biological & Chemical Treatment Systems.
- Ability to run Paques/ICX anaerobic systems efficiently.
- Understanding of water chemistry, pH, TDS, turbidity, and process controls.
- Troubleshooting skills for pumps, dosing systems, membranes, and clarifiers.
- Good communication and reporting skills.

**H. Additional Requirements**
- Willingness to work in shifts.
- Ability to respond to emergencies and process deviations.
- Basic computer knowledge for data entry and reporting.
