**Shift**: Second Shift (12:00 PM - 10:00 PM)

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Production Supervisor to lead and motivate a team of 10 workers on the second shift.

**Job Summary**:
As a Production Supervisor on the second shift, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the manufacturing operations, ensuring production targets are met, and maintaining a strong commitment to safety, quality, and efficiency. You will be responsible for leading, coaching, and developing your team to achieve operational excellence.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Team Leadership**:

- Supervise and lead a team of 10 production workers on the second shift.
- Set clear expectations and provide guidance to achieve daily production goals.
- Foster a positive work environment, promoting teamwork and employee engagement.
- **Production Oversight**:

- Monitor production schedules and ensure that products are manufactured in accordance with quality standards and specifications.
- Implement production plans, adjusting as needed to meet changing demands.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
- **Safety and Compliance**:

- Enforce safety protocols, conduct regular safety meetings, and ensure that all workers adhere to safety guidelines.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
- **Quality Assurance**:

- Monitor product quality at various stages of production, conducting quality checks and inspections.
- Take corrective actions to address quality issues and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- **Training and Development**:

- Provide training to new employees and ongoing coaching to improve performance and skills.
- Identify training needs and recommend skill development programs.
- **Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate records of production data, including output, downtime, and quality reports.
- Prepare shift reports and communicate performance metrics to upper management.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience as a production supervisor or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Knowledge of production processes, quality control, and safety standards.
- Proficient in using computer software for data entry and reporting.
- Willingness to work on the second shift and occasional overtime as needed.
