Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Transactions & Bookkeeping
- Maintain general ledger and ensure accurate recording of transactions.
- Process accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), including vendor

payments and customer invoices.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card transactions, and retail sales records
- Handle daily cash flow management and report discrepancies.

2. Retail-Specific Accounting & Reconciliation
- Reconcile POS (Point of Sale) transactions with financial records.
- Manage inventory accounting, including stock adjustments, COGS (Cost of

Goods Sold), and shrinkage analysis.
- Verify vendor invoices, purchase orders, and supplier payments.
- Track and analyze customer refunds, chargebacks, and promotional discounts.

3. Financial Reporting & Compliance
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Support external auditors and prepare documentation for audits.

4. Process Optimization & Automation
- Work with the finance and IT teams to streamline accounting workflows.
- Identify opportunities for automating reconciliation and reporting processes.
- Implement best practices in financial controls and risk management.

Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a retail or e-commerce

environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks).
- Experience with POS systems, retail ERP software, and inventory management

tools.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.).
- Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced

environment.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹47,665.97 per month

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Night shift

**Education**:

- Bachelor's (preferred)

**Experience**:

- US Accounting: 2 years (preferred)

License/Certification:

- CA-Inter (preferred)
