**Product Designer**

Omnicell is seeking a talented and passionate Product Designer to join our dynamic design team. As a Product Designer, you will be responsible for creating intuitive and engaging user experiences that align with Omnicell's commitment to advancing healthcare. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and researchers, to bring innovative ideas to life.

**Responsibilities**

As a Product Designer, you will play a pivotal role in translating broad healthcare concepts into practical and valuable solutions. Your responsibilities include:

- **Conceptual Design**: Transform intricate healthcare ideas into valuable and user-friendly interfaces, simplifying actions for healthcare professionals and patients.
- **User-Centric Flows**: Design intuitive flows and experiences that distil complex healthcare processes into usable interfaces, ensuring a seamless and efficient user experience.
- **Visual System Evolution**: Create new experiences and layouts that contribute to and define visual systems within the healthcare technology space.
- **Strategic Contributions**: Contribute to strategic decisions shaping the future direction of Omnicell's healthcare products, considering the unique needs of the healthcare industry.
- **Feedback and Improvement**: Provide and receive feedback from fellow designers and the broader product team, fostering a continuous improvement culture for design quality.
- **Cross-Functional Partnership**: Drive collaboration with product managers, engineers, researchers, and content strategists, overseeing the user experience of healthcare products from conception to launch.
- **Communication and Representation**: Represent your work to the broader product team and leaders in Bangalore, articulating goals and concepts clearly and succinctly.

**Required Knowledge and Skills**
- **Experience**: Over 3 years of hands-on experience in building and shipping multiple healthcare features across various platforms, encompassing end-to-end experiences.
- **Interaction Design**: Over 3 years of interaction design experience, demonstrating the ability to define user experiences based on an understanding of healthcare professionals' needs and considerations for scalability. Proficient in using prototyping tools to illustrate flow and interaction.
- **Visual Design**: Over 3 years of visual design experience, showcasing proficiency in typography, UI design for desktop and mobile, color theory, layout, iconography, and a keen aesthetic sense, understanding their impact on healthcare product function.
- **Strategic Product Thinking**: Over 3 years of strategic product thinking, with experience in developing product goals, identifying opportunities, and making decisions that positively impact people and the company in the healthcare context.

**Basic Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (UX/Visual Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Psychology, Industrial Design, or similar degrees preferred)
- 3+ years of Design Experience
