School Bus Driver

**Park Public School** is dedicated to providing a safe and supportive environment for both students and staff. We are currently looking for a reliable, responsible, and friendly **School Driver** to safely transport students to and from school, extracurricular activities, and field trips.

**Job Overview**: As a **School Driver**, you will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of students to their destinations. You will ensure that the students are well-cared for during transit, adhere to all traffic laws, and provide excellent customer service to students, staff, and parents.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Safely operate a school bus or designated vehicle to transport students to and from school, field trips, and extracurricular activities.
- Ensure the safety of students during transit, including assisting with boarding and exiting the vehicle.
- Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle, performing routine inspections and reporting any issues.
- Follow assigned routes and schedules, ensuring timely arrivals and departures.
- Maintain order and discipline among students while on the bus or vehicle.
- Communicate effectively with school staff, students, and parents to address any issues or concerns.
- Report any accidents, incidents, or vehicle maintenance needs to school management.
- Ensure that the vehicle is properly stocked with necessary safety equipment (e.g., first aid kits, emergency supplies).
- Adhere to all school policies, traffic laws, and safety regulations.

**Qualifications**:

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- years of experience as a driver (preferred, but not required).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening (as per school policy).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with children, staff, and parents.
- Ability to lift and assist students with special needs or mobility challenges, if necessary.
- Patience, reliability, and a commitment to safety.
- CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) with a passenger endorsement (preferred, but not required).
