We are seeking a talented and passionate Fashion Designer with expertise in sketch making, handwork, and fabric design to join our dynamic team. **Responsibilities**:

- **Conceptualization & Design**: Develop original clothing designs that integrate traditional handwork, fabric manipulation, and creative sketching.
- **Sketch Creation**: Produce high-quality hand-drawn and digital sketches to visually communicate design concepts.
- **Fabric & Textile Design**: Create unique fabric patterns and textures, incorporating innovative and traditional design techniques, such as embroidery, weaving, and print design.
- **Handwork Integration**: Design and incorporate intricate handwork details (e.g., embroidery, beadwork, appliqué) into garments to elevate the aesthetic appeal.
- **Trend & Material Research**: Stay updated on fashion trends, fabric innovations, and material advancements to design cutting-edge collections.
- **Material Sourcing**: Select fabrics and materials that align with the design vision, ensuring quality, durability, and aesthetic compatibility.
- **Prototype Development**: Collaborate with pattern makers and seamstresses to create garment samples, ensuring that handwork and fabric design elements are accurately reflected.
- **Quality Control**: Review finished garments, paying special attention to fabric quality, craftsmanship, and adherence to design specifications.
- **Presentation & Feedback**: Present design concepts and fabric ideas to stakeholders and respond to feedback to refine the collection.
- **Sustainability**: Explore sustainable fabric options and integrate eco-friendly practices into the design and production process.

**Requirements**:

- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field.
- **Experience**: At least 1 year of experience as a Fashion Designer, with a focus on fabric design and handwork.
- **Sketching Skills**: Proficiency in hand-drawing and digital sketching (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or CAD).
- **Handwork Knowledge**: Expertise in handwork techniques such as embroidery, beadwork, appliqué, and other embellishment methods.
- **Textile & Fabric Design**: Strong understanding of fabric properties, têxtile printing, and surface design techniques.
- **Attention to Detail**: Ability to execute intricate design details and ensure precision in garment production.
- **Creativity**: Strong artistic vision with a flair for combining traditional handwork with contemporary fashion.
- **Communication**: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presenting design ideas clearly.
- **Time Management**: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in designing specialized fabrics or têxtile patterns.
- Knowledge of sustainable fashion practices, particularly in fabric sourcing.
- Expertise in specific types of handwork or fabric crafting.
