**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Evaluate and approve knitted fabrics for production, ensuring quality meets company and customer standards.
- Conduct **fabric testing** for shrinkage, GSM, color fastness, pilling resistance, and other key parameters.
- Collaborate with **fabric suppliers and dyeing/processing units** to resolve quality issues.
- Ensure compliance with **buyer specifications and international quality standards**.
- Monitor fabric performance during **cutting, sewing, and finishing stages** to prevent defects.
- Work closely with the **design, merchandising, and production** teams to identify and rectify fabric-related challenges.
- Develop and implement **fabric inspection procedures** to minimize rejections and wastage.
- Keep updated with the latest trends in fabric technology and recommend improvements for better efficiency and quality.

**Requirements**:

- **12 to 15 years of experience** in fabric quality control, preferably in the knitted garments industry.
- In-depth knowledge of **knitting techniques, yarn types, dyeing processes, and finishing treatments**.
- Strong understanding of **fabric testing protocols** and industry standards.
- Experience working with **export houses and international buyers** is an added advantage.
- Proficiency in **fabric inspection techniques** and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and coordination skills to interact with vendors and internal teams.
