**Job Description**:
**Responsibilities**
- Responsible for working cross functionally to deliver current and next-generation performance, endurance, and value-add SSD features.
- Interact closely with teams including ASIC, Firmware, Hardware, System Design, Quality, Reliability, and Marketing. Devise experiments and critically evaluate test results.
- Develop and improve modelling infrastructure used in architectural trade-off analyses.

**Requirements**:

- Computer Science or Electronics Engineering, or related technical degree.
- Minimum five years of industry experience in architecture and algorithm development, platform modelling and design.
- C/C++ and Python programming expertise.
- Ability to develop code that drives hardware directly.
- Ability to work well with multiple teams of various disciplines.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Hands-on laboratory experience using equipment such as power supplies, oscilloscopes, and analyzers.
- Disciplined approach to problem solving, running experiments, documentation and presenting results.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office tool suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook).
- Storage experience in development, testing and/or failure analysis preferred.
- Flash experience, NAND or NOR, or other non-volatile memory technologies preferred.
- Control systems experience is a plus.
