**Position Title: Mid School Career Counsellor (Grade 9th & 10th)**

**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Student Counselling**:

- Provide individual and group counselling sessions to help students develop educational and career goals.
- Assist students in understanding their strengths, interests, and potential career paths through assessments and personal evaluations.
- Support students in developing academic plans that align with their career interests and educational goals.

**Career Guidance**:

- Organize and conduct career exploration activities, including workshops, career days, and guest speaker sessions.
- Educate students about different career opportunities and the educational pathways required for those careers.
- Guide students in the use of career exploration tools and resources, such as interest inventories and online career databases.

**Academic Support**:

- Collaborate with teachers to identify students in need of academic support or career guidance.
- Monitor student progress and intervene with strategies to help students achieve academic success.
- Assist students with course selection and scheduling to ensure they are on track for graduation and future career plans.

**Parent and Teacher Collaboration**:

- Communicate with parents regarding their child’s academic and career planning.
- Conduct parent workshops and information sessions on topics related to career exploration and academic planning.
- Work with teachers to integrate career education into the curriculum and classroom activities.

**Program Development**:

- Develop and implement a comprehensive career counselling program for middle school students.
- Stay informed about current trends in career education and integrate new practices and technologies into the program.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of the career counselling program and make adjustments as necessary.

**Administrative Duties**:

- Maintain accurate records of student interactions and progress.
- Prepare reports and documentation as required by the school administration.
- Participate in school meetings, committees, and professional development opportunities.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Master’s degree in School Counselling, Career Counselling, or a related field.
- **Experience**: Previous experience in a school counselling role, preferably at the middle school level. Group counselling and resume building experience is mandatory.
- **Skills**: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work collaboratively, knowledge of career development theories and practices, proficiency in counselling techniques, and familiarity with educational software and technology.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience in developing and implementing career education programs.
- Knowledge of the local job market and community resources.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹85,000.00 per month
